The ongoing process of making BigJock.com an Internet destination is an ongoing work in progress.

As with anything that evolves, change is good. From Day One, I have been committed to bringing the best user experience possible to our members.

In the next 10 days we will be launching our new blogs, as well as opening up our search functions to non-members, allowing people to try before they …buy… so to speak!

My initial thought to closing search and features to non-members was to have the members’ privacy in mind. However, I have received numerous emails suggesting opening this up like other social networks.

It will remain the same, in that only members can contact you, chat or join a group. But by allowing non-members the freedom to cruise the site, it is our feeling that this will enhance the member-base with people that may have been apprehensive about joining without knowing what was inside the locked gates.

The new blogs will be industry-standard, and not be as “buggy” as the current setup, which has had a tendency to crash for no apparent reason.
