How cool was it to see American Idol last night and watch Blake Lewis and Jordin Sparks go toe-to-toe for the final time. While I think this year’s show will not provide any stars like previous years, it was entertaining.

The Doug E. Fresh - Blake Lewis version of “The Show” was great, as was Jordin’s finale.

But…I am not sure if Jordin can carry a full album, that Blake’s entertainment can translate into a CD, if no-neck Melinda’s great voice will attract wide appeal, or if Jennifer Hudson-ish LaKisha’s gospel style will make her the next Aretha or just another Martha Wash wannabe.
